3.4 Disease guesses and information

MAI analyzes user data to help tell you what symptoms to expect. MAI collects data from publicly accessible medical journals, databases, reports, papers, etc. It converts the collected data into a form suitable for analysis by cleaning, de-duplicating, and reformatting it, which tokenizes the data and uses it to train the AI model.

Based on the preliminary results of the app's photo analysis, the AI will talk to you about suspected symptoms and how to prevent and manage them, and if the symptoms are serious, it will recommend and connect you to a nearby hospital.

When you talk to MAI about beauty advice or health, MAI responds with specialized medical information about diseases and health in everyday life. Sometimes, MAI can give you important clues about conditions that may be detected on your skin during a beauty consultation.

MAI can detect early signs of jaundice by looking at the whites of the user's eyes and the color of the skin, and it can tell if the user has type 1 or type 2 diabetes by looking at the dryness or spots on the skin. MAI can also guess thyroid disease by analyzing the oiliness, humidity, and swelling of the skin, and it can ask about the nearest hospital or additional symptoms, taking care of the user's health like a primary care doctor.
